Mid Island Veterinary Practice was born from a simple idea: veterinary care should feel personal, accessible, and grounded in compassion. Dr. Courtney Massa and Dr. James DiGiuseppi—both Staten Island natives—carried those values with them through veterinary school and years of working side by side in practices across the island. When they opened Mid Island, they chose independence intentionally, so every decision could be guided by what’s best for pets and their families, not corporate checklists.
That philosophy guided the creation of our new website as well.
