When visiting Mid Island Veterinary Practice for the first time, you’ll notice our hospital sits just across from Miller Field. This gives you direct access to fresh air and open space, perfect for a quick walk or playtime with your pet if you arrive early or on the rare occasion you need to wait.
Mid Island Veterinary Practice is equipped with multiple entrances. If you have a pet who may be anxious, fearful, or reactive, just let us know, and we can meet you at a designated entrance to get you into the exam room instead of passing through where other pets may be observed.
You can expect exams and treatments to be done right in the exam room where your pet feels most comfortable, and follow-ups that come directly from your veterinarian.
Every moment of your experience has been thoughtfully considered, from the gentle greeting upon your arrival to the time spent with our team, to the follow-up care that ensures your pet’s long-term wellness.
Our team is trained in Fear Free care techniques to make your pet’s visit as comfortable as possible. From gentle handling to using toys and treats that build trust, every detail centers on creating a positive experience that your pet will look forward to every time they visit with us.
