Emergency and Urgent Care

Guiding You Through the Scariest Moments

It’s a moment no pet parent ever wants to experience. Emergency and urgent situations can happen without warning, and feeling scared or overwhelmed is normal. We’re here to guide you, calmly, clearly, and quickly, so your dog or cat gets the care they need right away.

Is your pet experiencing an emergency or urgent situation?

During business hours: Call us first at (718) 954-9582. We can often triage and stabilize in-clinic and decide if referral is needed.

If your pet ate something questionable: Contact ASPCA Poison Control at (888) 426-4435. They’ll create a case number and recommendations we can follow when you arrive.

If it’s life-threatening and we’re closed: Proceed to Greater Staten Island Veterinary Services (24/7 emergency).
