Dr James Di Giuseppi saved my cats life. He was in a timing of the essence manner. Dr. came out on his day off when he did not have to. To do this surgery for him. Forever grateful. So amazing. Such an amazing staff. His partner Dr. Massa is amazing as well. Need a Vet they are your people!!!

Dr.James and Dr. Massa are the most welcoming and knowledgeable vets. The office is always clean and staff are as friendly as they come. Picking a vet for our new puppy was an important decision and we are so glad we found Mid-Island Veterinary Practice to take care of our puppy. I would recommend them to everyone looking for an honest and reliable vet.

What an incredible experience!! Came in with a same day appointment for a new kitty i rescued (extremely late to the appointment as well, mind you). I can not imagine having a better experience thanks to the doctor and staff. Extremely kind, thorough, and sincere care. Super clean facility. I just found this place near where I live after my regular vet’s appointment got canceled. The staff found an appointment time on the same day for my dog. The vet tech and the doctor were so friendly and professional. Now I don’t need to worry about my dog’s fleas and ticks, heartworm combo pill is going to be out of stock while I’m away from NYC for more than 2 weeks. I recommend this vet for folks near this location. It is very convenient for me.

Dr. DiGiuseppi and Dr. Massa are amazing. My rescue dog has tons of issues and both doctors are extremely comforting, caring, and knowledgeable. In emergency situations, they always make time in their busy schedule to see us. They deserve a huge portion of the credit in allowing my dog to live a normal, comfortable, and happy life.

Had my first visit to Mid Island Vet Practice today with my two cats, Luna & Miso, and I couldn’t be happier. The office was immaculately clean and smelled amazing—truly unlike any vet I’ve ever been to. The staff was so kind and gentle with my cats; you can tell they’re Fear Free Certified. I really appreciated that all vaccines and diagnostics were done right in the room with me. Pricing was very reasonable and I was even able to get a same-day appointment. Overall, a wonderful experience—we’ll definitely be returning!

I can’t say enough good things about Courtney & James – they are exactly what you would want in a Vet. They’re empathetic, knowledgeable, kind and patient. My cat was rushed there on a Saturday and they took care of him right away. Unfortunately it was a very short battle with cancer. They answered every phone call, email, message etc. Their staff was phenomenal and showed Ollie so much love. They supported me and my family during one of the hardest experiences. The compassion they showed us will never be forgotten. Thank you both for all you did for Ollie – it is so appreciated.
